51 Japanese Evacuated from Israel On Board South Korean Korean Military Plane

SEOUL — A South Korean military transport plane evacuating South Korean nationals from Israel also has 51 Japanese nationals on board, according to an announcement by the South Korean Foreign Ministry on Saturday.
South Korea dispatched the military aircraft for the evacuation of nationals from Israel amid escalating tension in the Gaza Strip.
The South Korean ministry said it cooperated on the evacuation of Japanese nationals from a humanitarian perspective.
The military airplane arrived in Tel Aviv on Friday night local time, then departed before dawn on Saturday with 163 South Koreans, 51 Japanese and six Singaporeans on board. The ministry said it is scheduled to arrive at an airport located in a suburb of Seoul on Saturday night Japanese time.
