4.8-Magnitude Quake Hits Japan’s Ibaraki Prefecture

An earthquake with an estimated magnitude of 4.8 struck Ibaraki Prefecture at 10:52 a.m. Saturday, registering 4 on the Japanese seismic intensity scale in the northern part of the prefecture.
There is no threat a tsunami, according to the Japan Meteorological Agency.
