Japan’s Police Investigate After Man Dies from Stab-like Wounds Near Himeji Station

A man appearing to be in his thirties was found with stab-like wounds to his back outside an apartment in Himeji, Hyogo Prefecture, on Tuesday morning. He was brought to the hospital, however he was pronounced dead. Hyogo prefectural police are investigating the incident as a possible crime.

According to the police, the man is thought to be a resident of the apartment. He was found lying face down near the ramp leading from the underground car park to ground level.

The scene is located in a residential area approximately two kilometers northwest of JR Himeji Station.
