Artificial aurora dazzles over Hotel Chinzanso in Tokyo
November 6, 2021
A dazzling aurora appeared Friday night over the garden of Hotel Chinzanso in Bunkyo Ward, Tokyo. According to the hotel, the aurora effect was created by projecting a spectrum of light onto artificial fog from various directions. Gazing up from the edge of the pond to enjoy the greenish-blue sky, onlookers could feel as if they had been transported to the arctic. The aurora show is scheduled to run until Feb. 7 next year, in about 5-minute performances to be held after sunset.
