KOBE — Roses of various colors are blooming at the Kobe Nunobiki Herb Gardens in Chuo Ward, Kobe, and will be at their peak through late this month.
The facility’s Rose Symphony Garden is divided into six zones, and contains 170 plants of about 60 rose varieties, primarily English Roses. Families and couples recently enjoyed walking through the garden and observing the flowers.
“I can smell the beautiful scents even through my mask, and it relaxes me,” a 28-year-old female company employee from Ashiya, Hyogo Prefecture, said with a smile.
