Finance Ministry, Financial Services Agency, BOJ Officials Hold Discussions; Subject Likely Weak Yen

The Finance Ministry, Financial Services Agency and Bank of Japan held a meeting together in the Finance Ministry on Wednesday evening in which senior officials exchanged views on recent financial market trends.
It is believed that the three parties discussed foreign exchange rates as the yen weakened to more than ¥151.90 to the dollar on Wednesday.
