Services Resumed on Tobu Tojo Line after Collision; No Injuries Reported as Train Collides With Truck (Update 1)

SAITAMA — Services were resumed on the Tobu Tojo Line on Thursday evening after a train collided with a truck at a crossing in Saitama Prefecture earlier in the day.
The accident occurred at around 3:20 p.m. between Kawagoe and Shingashi stations. There were no reports of injuries, according to the company.
Following the accident, services were suspended between Shiki and Kawagoe-shi stations. Operations between Shiki and Kami-Fukuoka were resumed at 4:22 p.m., while those between Kami-Fukuoka and Kawagoe-shi were restored at 6:32 p.m.
