Tokyo Disney Parks to cut kids ticket prices
18:10 JST, June 17, 2022
TOKYO (Jiji Press) — Prices for children’s admission tickets for Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea will be halved from June 27 until the end of August, Oriental Land Co., the operator of the theme parks, said Thursday.
Oriental Land hopes to attract families who have avoided visiting the theme parks in Urayasu, Chiba Prefecture, now that COVID-19 infections have settled down.
Tickets for children aged 4 to 12 will be priced at ¥2,350 to ¥2,800, down from ¥4,700 to ¥5,600. Tickets for admissions from 10:30 a.m., after the parks’ opening hours, will also be sold at half price.
The discount tickets will be sold on the parks’ official booking website from 2 p.m. Wednesday.
Oriental Land also said that hotels affiliated to the theme parks will distribute to guests tickets that will enable them to enjoy park attractions with shorter wait times than usual. The tickets will be available from July 14 to the end of August.
