14,086 newly test positive for novel coronavirus in Tokyo

The Tokyo metropolitan government reported Wednesday 14,086 new cases of novel coronavirus infection, a record high for two consecutive days.
There were 12,813 new cases in the capital on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, Osaka Gov. Hirofumi Yoshimura said Wednesday he expected the tally of new positive cases in Osaka Prefecture was likely to be about 9,800, up from 8,612 on Tuesday and a record high for two days in a row.
Aichi Prefecture also saw a record-high tally for two consecutive days at 4,663 new cases.
Fukuoka Prefecture expected 3,619 new cases, which would be the highest reported in the prefecture.
