TOKYO (Reuters) – Japan’s Seven & i 3382.T, owner of the 7-Eleven convenience stores, said it has received a preliminary takeover offer from Canada’s Alimentation Couche-Tard ATD.TO, potentially the biggest purchase of a Japanese company by an overseas firm.
