The Empress Emerita attended a charity concert to support children with cancer and other diseases at the Orchard Hall in Shibuya Ward, Tokyo, on Monday.
Due to the spread of the new coronavirus, it was the first time for the Empress Emerita to attend a concert in about two years and seven months. She listened to works by singer-songwriter Shinji Tanimura and others, and applauded the performers. About 40 children with cancer and their families were invited to the event.
