Sanyo Shinkansen Trains Resume Operations (UPDATE 1)

Sanyo Shinkansen trains resumed operations at 10:30 a.m. Friday. Some trains have been canceled, and there are delays in the schedule.
According to JR West, this is because a person entered the tracks at Shin-Iwakuni Station in Yamaguchi Prefecture around 7:30 a.m. Friday and was hit by a passing “Nozomi No. 4” train (16-car train) from Hakata to Tokyo.
