Typhoon Yinxing Emerges East of Philippines, Moving toward West

A tropical cyclone east of the Philippines developed into Typhoon Yinxing at around 3 a.m. on Monday, according to the Japan Meteorological Agency. The typhoon, also referred to as Typhoon No. 22, was moving west at 30 kph, the agency said.
Its central pressure is 1002 hectopascals and the maximum instantaneous wind speed was 25 meters.
