A snow-covered miniature of Naha’s Shuri Castle gets a year-end cleaning on Tuesday at the Tobu World Square theme park in Nikko, Tochigi Prefecture. Park staff cleaned the re-creations of famous buildings and monuments from around the world, using brushes and cotton swabs on the vermilion miniature of Shuri Castle that was completed this spring, and on the dolls at the castle. An aerial work platform was used to dust off the about 26-meter-high replica of Tokyo Skytree.
