Princess Kako attends children’s book award ceremony

Princess Kako, the younger daughter of Crown Prince Akishino and Crown Princess Kiko, attended the 69th Sankei Children’s Book Award ceremony held in Minato Ward, Tokyo, on Friday.
She shared her impressions of each of the eight children’s books selected as excellent works. “I hope that many more works will be produced in the future that will remain in the hearts of readers,” she said.
After the ceremony, she met with the 10 award winners.
