Ten Japanese nationals and eight Palestinian family members who had expressed a desire to leave Gaza evacuated to Egypt by land Wednesday, Foreign Minister Yoko Kamikawa said at a House of Representatives Security Committee meeting Thursday morning.
The Foreign Ministry said one Japanese national it is in close contact with has not requested evacuation and still remains in Gaza.
