Japan: ASDF Aircraft to Be Dispatched to Sudan Soon

Air Self-Defense Force transport aircraft, currently on standby in Djibouti, will be dispatched to the nearby country of Sudan to evacuate Japanese nationals wishing to leave the northeast African country, Chief Cabinet Secretary Hirokazu Matsuno said in Tokyo on Monday afternoon.
The dispatch will be made as soon as all arrangements are made, he said.
