SEOUL — North Korea fired eight short-range ballistic missiles toward the Sea of Japan on Sunday from the Sunan area of Pyongyang, among other areas, South Korea’s Joint Chiefs of Staff said. The missiles were fired between 9:08 a.m. to 9:43 a.m., it said.
