Hokuriku, Joetsu Shinkansen Bullet Trains Fully Resume Tuesday (UPDATE 5)

The operations of the Hokuriku and Joetsu Shinkansen resumed Tuesday on the entire lines after they had been partially stopped due to the Noto Peninsula Earthquake on New Year’s Day on Monday.
The Joetsu Shinkansen resumed operation between Echigo-Yuzawa and Niigata at around 2:40 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Hokuriku Shinkansen resumed operation between Nagano and Toyama at 3:20 p.m. on the day. Operation between Toyama and Kanazawa resumed earlier in the morning.
