1,000 LED Drones Form Origami Crane in Hiroshima Night Sky

HIROSHIMA — About 12,000 people gathered for the music and drone show “#Hiroshima Mirai Baton” on Thursday in Hiroshima, where the Group of Seven summit will be held from May 19 to 21.
At the event, held to promote the summit, 1,000 LED-equipped drones soared into the night sky and took the shape of the Atomic Bomb Dome and an origami crane, among other patterns. The popular music group Exile and others performed “Reason,” a song created for the summit.
