Tokyo logs 3,546 new coronavirus cases, up 1,365 from the previous week

The Tokyo metropolitan government confirmed 3,546 new cases of the novel coronavirus on Friday, up 1,365 cases from last week.

The number of daily cases has been trending higher compared to the same day of the previous week for 14 consecutive days.
