Denmark goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel can only look on as a shot by French striker Kylian Mbappe, left, slams into the back of the net in the 86th minute for the second of his two goals in their World Cup Group D match at the Stadium 974 in Doha on Saturday. The goal gave France a 2-1 victory and, with two wins in its first two matches, made the defending champion the first team to clinch a spot in the knockout stages of the tournament.
