Japan’s Joetsu, Hokuriku Shinkansen Lines Resume Operations After Being Suspended by Earthquake Near Tokyo

The Joetsu and Hokuriku shinkansen lines fully resumed operations by 10:41 a.m. on Thursday after being suspended due to an earthquake that hit the Kanto region at 9:08 a.m. on the day.
The Joetsu shinkansen line operation was suspended between Tokyo and Niigata stations, while the Hokuriku shinkansen line operation was suspended between Tokyo and Nagano stations.
