Cherry Trees Bloom in Tokyo, JMA Announces

Someiyoshino cherry trees have started blooming in Tokyo, the Japan Metrological Agency announced Tuesday. This is 10 days earlier than an average year and six days earlier than last year, tying 2023 with 2020 and 2021 for the earliest blossoms since observations began in 1953.
