People participate in nighttime kayaking at Tassha Beach in Sado, Niigata Prefecture. The Sado Tourism Association on Friday began offering a program in which participants enjoy fantastic scenery created by illuminating the seabed with lights attached to kayaks and standup paddleboards at the beach known for its crystal-clear water on Sado Island. “I feel like I’m above the clouds,” said one participant who experienced the program ahead of its official launch.
