Kansai Electric Power Co. workers scale 10-meter-high mock utility poles at a training facility in Ibaraki, Osaka Prefecture. Since joining the utility in spring, the 57 new employees have used the facility to learn how to work at altitude, while carrying out tasks related to the distribution of electric power. The employees will train through August next year before being transferred to different locations.
