Moderate quake hits Kanto

A moderate quake hit the Kanto region at around 6:42 p.m. on Thursday, measuring 4 on the Japanese seismic intensity scale of 7 in Ibaraki, Tochigi and Gunma prefectures.
The magnitude-4.8 quake occurred in the southern part of Ibaraki Prefecture, according to the Japan Meteorological Agency. No tsunami advisory has been issued.
