Three more people were found Thursday, five days after a sightseeing boat went missing off the Shiretoko Peninsula in Hokkaido, the Japan Coast Guard said.
The three people were found east of the peninsula.
Twenty-six passengers and crew members — including two children — were on board when the boat went missing after calling for rescue west of the peninsula on Saturday. Eleven people had previously been found and confirmed dead.
