M4.3 quake strikes Ishikawa Pref, reaches 4 in intensity

A strong earthquake measuring up to 4 on the Japanese seismic intensity scale from 0 to 7 struck Noto region, Ishikawa Prefecture, on Monday.
The magnitude-4.3 quake measured 4 in Suzu, 3 in Noto.
The Japan Meteorological Agency said the earthquake occurred at around 10:26 a.m. in Ishikawa, with the focus estimated to be at a depth of 10 kilometers.
