Colorful carp streamers “swim” in the air over the Tsuruudagawa river as Someiyoshino cherry blossoms bloom in the background in Tatebayashi, Gunma Prefecture. About 4,000 of the fish-shaped wind socks have been hung for the Koinobori no Sato Matsuri festival at five locations across the city. The festival will run through May 15.
