Toy airplanes float in a water basin at the aviation-linked Hiko Shrine in Yawata, Kyoto Prefecture, as a sign of support for the pandemic-hit airline industry. Some of the planes have messages written on their sides, such as, “I hope coronavirus is contained and moves on,” and “I wish for the success of the airline industry.”
