Visitors to the Tokyo Midtown commercial complex in Minato Ward enjoy the Christmas atmosphere Thursday in an illumination featuring about 300,000 light-emitting diodes on trees and flying soap bubbles around a large dome-style installation. In the Midtown Christmas 2021 event, the Snow Light Globe, about 4.5 meters in diameter and about 3 meters high, was set up in the plaza, around which soap bubbles fly every 12 minutes, creating a magical atmosphere. The Illumination will run from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. until Dec. 15. The presentation of soap bubbles will end on Dec.12.
