About 70 ginkgo trees’ golden leaves hang above people strolling through Nerima Ward’s Hikarigaoka Park in Tokyo last week. Among the trees are giants that are more than 130 years old. According to the park’s information center, the leaves began changing color in late October. Prime viewing of the golden foliage is expected to last through the weekend.
