Fire Spread Over Wide Areas After Japan Earthquake in Wajima, Ishikawa Pref.

Firefighting efforts are still underway more than 12 hours after a fire broke out at around 6 p.m. Monday in the central part of Wajima, Ishikawa Prefecture, after earthquakes measuring upper 6 on the Japanese seismic intensity scale of 7 were observed.
The fire broke out around Asaichi-dori street, a well-known tourist attraction, and some 200 buildings and houses reportedly have been affected.
