Tokyo Cools Off in Rains from Tropical Cyclone

Commuters cross the street amid cooling rain near Tokyo Station on Monday. The lowest temperature logged in central Tokyo that morning was 24.5 C, the first time in about a month for the temperature to fall below 25 C. The Kanto region was hit by rain from Typhoon No. 12, also known as Typhoon Kirogi, which was later downgraded to a tropical cyclone.
