KOFU, Yamanashi — Police have found a child’s footwear near a Yamanashi campsite where a young girl went missing in 2019.
Human remains believed to be part of a child’s skull were found in the area on Saturday.
The footwear is believed to match the color and brand of the sneakers worn by Misaki Ogura of Narita, Chiba Prefecture, when she disappeared during a camping trip with family and friends in 2019.
