M-5 earthquake hits southern Ibaraki Prefecture

A magnitude-5 earthquake occurred in southern Ibaraki Prefecture at about 12:30 p.m. Sunday.
There is no risk of tsunami, according to authorities.
The earthquake registered a four on the Japanese intensity scale in parts of Ibaraki and other prefectures, and a three in some areas of Tokyo.
