Japan logs 211,058 coronavirus cases on Tuesday

Japan confirmed 211,058 new cases of novel coronavirus infection on Tuesday.
The nationwide daily figure, including airport quarantines, exceeded 200,000 for the first time in three days. The number of nationwide COVID-19 deaths reported was 143.
On Tuesday, 13 prefectures, including Aichi, Shizuoka and Shiga, saw their daily infection numbers hit prefectural record highs.
