Tokyo logs 36,814 coronavirus cases

Tokyo confirmed 36,814 new cases of novel coronavirus infection on Friday, exceeding 20,000 for the 10th consecutive day.
The daily tally in the capital rose by 1,819 from the same day in the previous week.
