Tokyo logged 11,018 new cases of novel coronavirus infection on Tuesday, the Tokyo metropolitan government said.
The number fell 493 from the same day of the previous week, down for the first time week-on-week in 32 days, partly because fewer tests were conducted due to the three-day weekend.
