Tokyo logs 3,621 coronavirus infections

The Tokyo metropolitan government confirmed 3,621 new cases of coronavirus infection on Thursday, up by 1,208 from the same day last week.
The figure has exceeded the number of cases confirmed the week before for 13 consecutive days, the metropolitan government said.
