Tokyo reports community-acquired omicron case

A case of community transmission of the omicron coronavirus variant has been confirmed in Tokyo, Gov. Yuriko Koike announced Friday. The infected patient is a doctor with no recent history of overseas travel and no known contact with omicron patients.
