Cultivating Time: The Practice of Two Artists
14:35 JST, October 10, 2024
An exhibition by Keiko Miyamori and Hiroko Masuko, Cultivating Time: The Practice of Two Artists, is being held at GALLERY MoMo Ryogoku, near Ryogoku Station on the JR Sobu Line and the Oedo Subway Line, through October 19th.
Miyamori creates works in the form of jutaku, tree rubbings, called TIME, and Masuko creates drawings everyday. Through the creation of works that accumulate day by day, the two artists confront their own senses and cultivate them. This exhibition explores the connection between the individual and the whole from the sense of the two artists, whose works and places of production are different.
The gallery, which was once a paper factory, has been converted into a wonderful space that has retained the original beams and pillars.
◆1-7-15 Kamezawa, Sumida Ward, Tokyo. Open from 11:00am to 7:00pm. Closed on Sundays, public holidays and Mondays. Admission free.
