Earthquake Death Toll Rises to 213 in Ishikawa Pref. (Update 1)

The death toll in Ishikawa Prefecture rose to 213 as of 9 a.m. Thursday following the Jan. 1 disaster, with 98 in deaths recorded in Suzu, 83 in Wajima, 20 in Anamizu, five in Nanao, four in Noto, two in Shika and one in Hakui, the prefecture said Thursday.
A person in Suzu, who was reported missing after the tsunami, was confirmed dead. The number of people unaccounted for stood at 52, it said.
