Governors offer silent prayer to Prime Minister Shinzo Abe at the site where he was shot to death in Nara on Thursday morning.

NARA — Governors attending the National Governors’ Association conference in Nara visited the site of the fatal shooting of Prime Minister Shinzo Abe to offer silent prayer before their meeting Thursday morning.
Tottori Gov. Shinji Hirai, chairman of the association, called for the prayer. 21 governors attended, lining up side by side facing the site of the incident.
The conference will last for two days until Friday.
