Tokyo logs 18,820 COVID cases

Another 18,820 people tested positive for the novel coronavirus in Tokyo on Thursday, the Tokyo metropolitan government has said.
This is an increase of 1,133 cases from the same day a week before and a week-on-week increase in the capital for 17 days straight.
