Tokyo logs 21,122 new virus cases

Tokyo confirmed 21,122 new cases of the novel coronavirus Saturday, up 3,689 from a week earlier.
Osaka Prefecture logged 23 deaths linked to COVID-19, and 10,918 new coronavirus cases, topping 10,000 for the fifth consecutive day.
Meanwhile, Hokkaido confirmed 4,046 new cases, exceeding 4,000 for the first time.
Nationwide daily cases exceeded 100,000.
