Kyushu Shinkansen Suspends, Resumes Operation between Kumamoto and Kagoshima-Chuo (UPDATE 1)

Kyushu Shinkansen train service was suspended between Kumamoto and Kagoshima-Chuo stations on Monday morning due to heavy rain, according to Kyushu Railway Co.

Services for the section were suspended from the first train in the morning and gradually resumed around noon.
