Earthquake Hits Tohoku Region, Measuring 4 on Japanese Seismic Intensity in Miyagi Pref.

An earthquake with epicenter off the coast of Fukushima Prefecture occurred at around 2:10 a.m. on Monday, measuring 4 on the Japanese seismic intensity scale in Ishinomaki, Miyagi Prefecture.
According to the Japan Meteorological Agency, the epicenter is estimated to be 60 km deep with a magnitude of 5.0. No tsunami advisories were issued.
