Cherry Blossoms, Rapeseed Flowers Perform Colorful ‘Duet’ in Niigata

Cherry blossoms and rapeseed flowers are now both in full bloom at Uwasekigata Park in Niigata City, delighting visitors with a colorful “duet” of pale pink and vibrant yellow.

The park, spanning about 260,000 square meters, features about 450 cherry trees — including Someiyoshino ones and other varieties — and some 1.6 million rapeseed flowers.

On Tuesday, though a light rain fell, many people enjoyed strolling through the park and taking photos.
